At the Lodge, daily activities are in the program, such as educational excursions, swimming in the Laguna Grande, wild bird watching, paddling down the river in native canoes or kayaks, and a visit to the Siona community. But there will also be enough time to relax at the lodge or to see a stunning sunset at the Laguna Grande.

In the activities they will be accompanied at all times by a certified, bilingual guide. In addition, you can enjoy fresh food of excellent quality in our lodge. As you leave the camp, you have the option of taking the bus or a flight from Lago Agrio to Quito. We can organize one of these two options for you.


Tips for staff are at the discretion of our guests. Tip for the guide is better to give it personally.


In the Amazon region the climate is hot and humid, with frequent rains. The driest months are from October to March. The temperature ranges from 19 ° C to 36 ° C throughout the year. Jamu Lodge is 250 meters above sea level.


Vaccinations are not currently necessary to visit this area of ​​the Amazon rainforest, it is recommended - however, consult your doctor before your trip. Precautions against malaria and yellow fever are recommended.

Strong insect repellent must be purchased prior to arrival in the jungle.
